I recently received a few eMails from myself that I never sent. They were spam (investment opportunities)and did't appear to carry any malicious code.
Also I received a few notices that my "never sent" mail was undeliverable to some addresses.
How is it that someone can use my AOL eMail address to send junk out ? |

Mark;
What happened to you is a common practice used by spambots, known as a "Joe Job." The spam engine planted on some poor shmuck's computer has a list of harvested email addresses that it rotates through and uses them in the Reply To and From fields. There is nothing you can do about this, aside from alerting your ISP about the fact that you are the victim of a Joe Job. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

Well it looks like they put one of these loads out of commission. |
Now, let's go get the other 10,000 spammers!! _________________ A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
