I just noticed that I posted this in the wrong section!. Should've been in electronics, etc. I apologize for that. I am looking to buy a BOSS TU-12 tuner on bad-bay, and I know that a lot of steel players seem to get the Boss TU12H. It has a range from C1 to B6, when the 12 has a range from C1 to B5. I am not that much up on the difference.
Can a guy get by with the 12 (C1 to B5)? for tuning both E9 and C6 necks?? I don't know how many more tunings you can get out of the 12H. The TU12H's go for around 45 used (even on the forum, which I missed out on). The Boss TU12's you can get for almost 1/2 the price sometimes.
Please, if someone could let me know asap. I have a bid on the 12 and I don't want to raise it if everyone feels I should get the 12H.
Waiting anxiously,
Al Vesel

Al, I have used both and honestly, I prefer the
TU 12. I got rid of 2 TU 12H tuners and kept my
TU 12. This is just my opinion.

I've used both and prefer the 12H. I now have a Peterson Strobe O Flip, but I still carry the 12H in my car as a "backup". |

Bob, you can close this. I purchased the 12, instead of the 12H. Couldn't go wrong at $30.00 including freight.

I received the TU-12. What a tuner for the price!!! It works great. Wise decision for the price.
