Ricky Ripoff : Part Trois

I promise ... this is it ( I sure hope).
The last re-do had an issue ... the gap between the magnets was too great. Not enough "juice" being fed to the strings under the gap.
I should have foreseen this ... when I made the old H-Shoes (the last few sets going to Cruztone) ... I purposely made them with virtually no gap.
So back it came ... and I decided to make these things "true Potbellys".
So I milled out more of the fake horseshoes ... ran a "yolk" across the gap ...
Made a taller bobbin and wound it with # 38 to 2.1 K Ohm.
I'll have the other two done by this weekend.
If anyone wants to hear a "Potbelly" pickup (albiet a different shell) ... and are in Cajun Country ... stop by and see ...
The Jambalaya Cajun Band ... with Terry Huval on fiddle and steel guitar.
