Laugh all you want, this guitar is probably worth
twice that!
After all, it's a rare item. I mean...you could probably shop for years and years and never find another guitar with...
3/16" Hex Nylon Tuners
What a feature!
That alone oughta clinch the deal.
And then, of course, there's them "Brass Bushins", too.
Top it off with the fact that this is a
baby-blue color steel (a color preferred by
every steeler named Jimmy Day), and you can see that this baby won't last long.
Did you notice the catchy phrase
"We can't tell you who this guitar belonged to"?
Oh yes, this is excitement at it's best!!!
I bid 50,000 quatloons!

Hey C'mon guys, gas has went up--cut some slack---heck, it probably comes with an extra set of strings!
Let's see if old P.T. Barnum gets it right again!

I'm wondering how much the owner paid for it, maybe found out they can't play it, then they want to sell it, that price may reflect what they bought it for! I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

I sent a nice little note of advice to this seller and I got the real story..(?)....You see the girl that has this guitar says that the person that owned it bought 2 identical steels...and paid 10,000 each for them....Theres your justification....wish this guy had bought all of my guitars, I could sell all my stocks and eliminate my 401K....

I wouldn't doubt it would sell for the asking price. If not this time, but eventually. Ebay and online shopping has brought us incredibly easy bargain shopping where we find great deals and it will show up on your porch in a few days. We also have the ability to find that special item you must have, and you're not sure, or care what it's worth,
but it will be on my porch Friday

Chris, do you really think someone will pay twice the price of a new one? I think anyone looking at pedal steels on ebay would have a tiny bit of market knowledge and realize how stupidly this is priced.
Of course, P.T. Barnum may even be right in this instance!

Hey, you never know with Ebutt! Folks get that "bidding fever"! I got a hankerin' lately to aquire one of those Squier Vintage 51 geetars that everyone is having fun messin' with. I spent two weeks chasing after one at Ebutt that would sell for less than the Sam Ash new price of $99. Couldn't find one! They all seemed to go "in like new condition" for $125 to $150 plus $25 to $40 "shipping". Guess where a new one (with free shipping) is coming from?!? (Even if it is in Model-T color*)
But back to the Emmons.....Maybe if I won a lottery!

Hey Dennis
I grabbed one of those Squier 51's at Christmastime from Overstock.com for $69 plus $1.00 shipping!!! How can they do this and both Fender and the vendor make a profit??? Its actually a great guitar. I had read about a well known band whose guitarist took this as his only ax on a European tour!!!!

Hey John, I got one of those '51's a couple years ago and love it. I set the action to my liking and find that it's a pretty good guitar. I don't gig with mine but it would be good for it. Imagine with some better pickups what it could do. Maybe an upgrade in the future? I didn't get the deal you got though. I got mine when they first came out. Looks like the design didn't catch on so the price went through the floor. Guess we changed the subject here but I wanted to comment on the '51.
