Hello All,
Although I've enjoyed this site and all the information and characters it has to offer for about 3 months now, I've finally decided to ante up the five bucks and join. A small price to pay for the information and real sense of community I've found here. I purchased my first PS guitar about 4 months ago. An early 70's Fender 800 S-10 with 3 foot and 1 knee. By no means a "pro" guitar but I believe it should be enough to get me started. I'm fortunate that I have a great teacher in my area (Jimmy Heffernan) and I've had 2 lessons so far. What a great guy and excellent instructor.

Welcome Joe!

How 'bout a photo of that Fender? You can get started alright, but will very soon want a couple of additional levers I'll bet...I imagine your one lever lowers the Es?

Do you have/use "The Bible", Winnie Winston's book? I'm curious as to what kinda stuff your early lessons entail.....

Again, welcome and enjoy!
