Anybody know of one for sale. Single or double neck for someone who never played steel before.

Ron -- advise to learn to play it righty. I'm left-handed and had been playing left-handed guitar for over 20 years when I took up steel--right-handed. Here's why it's not too bad: For lefties, the picking hand on the steel is the same as the fretting hand playing guitar, so the dexterity is there. If this person doesn't play guitar, I'd still recommend playing righty. Much easier to buy and sell guitars.

Ron,
They are hard to come by, used at least. I own 2 but am not ready to part with them. Ordering a left handed starter may be the easiest and fastest way. I wish I had better news, but I have faced this all my life. Good luck.

Ron, i've got a 1993 Fessenden D-10 that I'd sell. It's in great condition and comes with a case. Let me know if you're interested.

Ron,
Don has built them before and will build you one. It cost a little but not much more for him to build it for leftys. I as well am left handed. I have thought about getting one but I'm set in my way now.
