I want to hook up a GD Walker stereo steel preamp and a Lexicon MPX1 together so which is the best way to hook them up? |

Thanks Ken! I use it in the effects loop of my N1000 and it does a superb job. I am just not sure about hooking it into the effects loop of the stereo steel unit. |

LYLE USE THE EFFECTS LOOP
BUT YOU HAVE TO PULL THE EFFECTS KNOBS OUT
AND SET THE EFFECTS IN THE MPXI
IT DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH THE KNOBS PUSHED IN
BY THE WAY I HAVE GREAT PROGRAMS FOR THE
MPXI, I SET JOHN HUGHEYS PROGRAMS AND A LOT OF THE OTHER GUYS

I'm a different Ken...the not-so-bright one. I'm using the Walker Stereo Steel Preamp (works exactly the same way) with a Lex MX200. Yes, use the effects loop. Yes, the pullout knobs make a difference. You still plug your guitar into the front of the Stereo Steel. Gerry's a good guy. He'll talk ya through it. Try his website / email...gdwalker@mei.ws |
