Al played in the house band at the Comal Country Opry last night,,not only did he sound great,,but it seems like he inspired the whole band to sound better. Scott Moon also did a couple of sets, both fiddle and vocal,,sounded great. This show has improved tremendously in the past few years thanks to talent like these guys. We also get to enjoy people like Bobby Flores who plays some of the local oprys fairly regularly,,,

Also heard a rumor last night that one of our local steel players had passed away,,,but couldn't find out who????

He has one... I've seen it at his house. Don't know if he plays it out.

Sonny...thanks for the kind words and it was good to finally meet you in person. Al did play his rear off last night! I tried to show him off as much as I could during my set. The band was great too! Hope to get to do that again sometime.

Scott
