Besides going a page at a time, how do you get to "say" page 100 of 1-200 pages quickly.

Go to "what"? What program or scenario are you referring to?

I think he's referring to the Go To at the top of the 1st page. Go To 1 2 3 ... 75 76 77. There's no easy way to get to page 101 or say page 57.

Jude, you are correct. If you want to goto page 57, you have to step page by page 57 times to get to it. There should be an easier way than that, just curious if anyone knew how to do it.

Here's what may be an answer to your question:

When you first open a forum section, you're on page 1 of that section, and the url for the page ends in "f=12" for the Computer Section, for example. 12 means this section is the twelfth section in the forum. That url won't help.

Click "next" to open the second page. Now the url changes and has the ending "start= (some number)". If you were on the top page of the section and clicked "next", the number will be "50". It starts at "0" for page 1 of the section, and goes up in increments of 50 for each new page - page 1 is 0, page 2 is 50, page 3 is 100, and so on.

So, the answer to your "Go To" question for this forum, at least, is to multiply the page number you want to "Go To", less 1, by 50, and put that number in the url at the end after "start=" - then open that page.

Example: I want to access page 57. 57-1=56. 56 X 50=2800. Change the number appearing after "start=" in the location bar to 2800 and click whatever in your browser opens that page (or maybe just press Enter) and, viola', page 57 opens.

Dave, you are exactly correct, that works. Thanks a lot, I sure was tired of punching in all those pages to get to something.

I tried in other sections, and it works there too.

Now, if I could just get a life... Rolling Eyes
