My wife and I will be in Austin from Monday to Thursday this week. We want to go out and hear as many steel players as we can find. Send us your post and tell us where you are playing. Look forward to meeting you and hearing you play.

James, Jim Loessberg and Justin Trevino are now playing Thursday nights at Buddy's Place on Burnet Road. They are not playing at Ginny's on Wednesday anymore. Check out Ginny's Little Longhorn though. They have live music there Tues.- Sunday. Thursday night from 8-10 at Jovita's on S. First is the Cornell Hurd Band with Scott Walls on steel.

Price Porter plays in Austin periodically. . .don't know his schedules, but he's a hot Uni player. His son, Django, works with Freddie Powers and Merle Haggard regularly.
