Hello all,

I find myself in need of a personal digital recorder for self recording and for casual recording of gigs and rehearsals. I have looked into the Zoom h2n and the Tascam Dr 0-5. Am I missing something? Suggestions?

Thanks
Kc

The Zoom H2n gets my vote. Have used it for those purposes for the past three years

I have the Zoom H1 which is I believe their least expensive model and it does a great job, excellent sound quality. Super easy to use!

I couldn't make up my mind as to whether to buy the Zoom or the Tascam either, so I bought both. They would both do the job you need them for equally as well. Winking

What ever happened to the Tascam digital recorders that have a guitar trainer built into them? I have the GT-R1 and use it for live recording, and the guitar trainer features have been my go to practice partner.
