"Sugar Blues" used to be a popular hit but haven't heard it for years.
In case you want to jog your memory......JERRY BYRD can be heard playing it on the JERRY BYRD FAN CLUB site at this time. |

I remember Sugar Blues. I've never heard Jerry B. play it but when I was with Clark Rohn's band in SoCal our trumpet player used to do the old original Clyde McCoy version complete with a toilet plunger and all for the wah-wah effects. A wah-wah pedal would sound good on that tune.....JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

I sneak parts of it into solos all the time, hoping some one would remember it and comment. That's never happened. |
