Here's another bump for Randy and Russ. Randy is one of my favorite people I'm getting to know.
And Russ, anything he's a part of is got to be good.

Re: Who all is going??? Anyone???

I am, and I don't even play with pedals.
Randy is to be commended for bringing great talent to a place that is not exactly a hotbed of steel guitar activity. Please support him.

I might go. I'm just a beginner though, don't know how much I'll learn or how much I'll slow things down.

Hey Ya'll...I'm really looking forward to the weekend with Randy....he and I will have a very large time whether there's 2 players there or 20....just remember that your playing level doesn't matter because a large part of the seminar will be one on one.
See you there,
Russ

Russ just call and said: Laughing "I Am Ready". He is looking forward to a "Large Time". Razz He will be doing a lot of one on one, with each player set around his or her level of playing. He will be showing everyone how he did his last CD, by using Band In A Box computer software. How to build tracks to play along with. He might even play a couple tunes off his new CD for everyone. I know he will.

Thanks for everyones support and comments, If you can make it please do, this will be a large time to remember.

I will be cooking smoked brisket for lunch, and all the goodies Shocked that go along with it.

Thanks again to the Fourm and all the members.

Sorry I can't make it Randy due to prior commitments. If you want to learn how to play steel, this is a big chance to learn from one of the greats. The other great is the pretty one, Laney. Just think how one would put up with a musician and still........ well better shut up, Russ's feelings are at stake here. Love you guys, and Randy, I wish you the best.

Keep up the great work. I hope there will be more opportunities in the future. I am travelling to Pennsylvania on the 28th otherwise I would be up in a heartbeat. What a wonderful opportunity for those attending, and that food sounds good too!

If you didn't make it to the seminar, you really missed out. Russ Hicks has to be about the nicest person you'd ever meet. Randy had some awesome food for us to eat, including homemade brisket!!!

A good time was had by all.

We had a large time.....great facility, great lunch, and met some very nice players, most just starting out on their 'adventure' with our beloved instrument, and very hungry for the ability to create the sounds the pedal steel if famous for....I saw some great potential in that area and I hope I was able to contribute whatever it takes to keep that hunger alive.
Many thanks to Randy for the weekend, and I'm glad the two of us had a whole day to spend on '07 BIAB and Pro-Tools.....we were able to come up with a few surprises we may 'unleash' in the future Smile.
