Sent my old session 500 to Peavey several weeks ago with many problems, and after talking with Mike
and telling him what it was doing, He and his staff fine tuned her back to life.
Sounds as if she were bran new again ,and have played out now several weekends with no problems at all. "Great Job Peavey"
Just Wanted Everybody To Know!! What A Great Guy!!
Thanks Mike.

I know of no other company that will still service a product they made 25 to 30 years ago. I've tried to get factory service on products that weren't 10 years old, from other amp companies and was refused or referred to a "Factory authorized" service center. One in particular is Polytone. I went to one of their recommended servicemen and he charged me $250 and still didn't completely fix the problem. He would have worked on it again if I'd ship it back to him, for another $100 round trip, out of my pocket. I'll probably never own another one, but I own around 15 Peavey amps. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |
