I just received a G&L ASAT Premium in blueburst that I purchased on ebay. This is a great guitar. Better than the seller advertised and better than new because it's all set up to play. Super low action, no high frets, absolutely straight neck and accurate intonation. It plays similar to my Fender Nashville Tele's but has a tad more sustain and sounds quite a bit more in tune in all the open chord positions. For example you can tune the strings open and get a good sounding D, G, C, A and E chords with no strings sounding flat or sharp. This is the first electric guitar I've ever bought that noted this true. Best $350 (+ shipping) I've spent in quite some time! This could easily become my goto guitar.
See it here!

Cool! That's prettier than any Tele I've seen! |

Yup!
I got my G&L ASAT Tribute Classic Premium Blueburst about a year ago, and have still not found anything that feels sounds or plays better. It's the one on my avatar.
I got it for 419$, and the difference is the MFD pickups are the "tele" config, in an ash tray heel, with 6 brass barrels. I stuck a Hipshot D drop and a set of Planet Waves locking tuners on it.
Couldn't be happier.
Actually I was offered a JD BB Peavey for half of retail, and just couldn't see it over this guitar.
I don't see any quality corners that were cut, and it's getting a LOT of use.
