Here's 3 uses for raising the 2nd E9th string 1/2 tone. The first part of the tab features a modern pedal steel riff with this change. the second part has a sound much like you'd get on strings 1,3,4 with the 1st string raised 1/2 tone (neat way to get this old lick back) and the last part shows some unison sounds. Tacked on to all this is a run that I use a lot but didn't tab out in any of my tunes.
