John, most all the old Sho-Bud rods were .1094 (7/64), most all were threaded to a 5-40 die.

Many thanks for that, i would like to put it back
to original,there are 4 different size rods on the one i purchased and keeps striping threads on the hex
nuts due to small size of some rods.

John, I am just seeing you are in England. I guess it would be more approiate to say 7/64 is 2.78 MM. I never could understand that metric stuff. Martin.
