I would like to thank all the steel guitar players that emailed me & prayed for my Son during his battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully Sunday April 15th at 6:50PM. Now I would like to ask for a pray for his Mother & myself, & thank you all in advance for that.

Ernie, I have no idea what you're feeling, but God does and he will comfort you. My Pastor, who lost a wife and 4 year old boy in a firey car crash, always says it's just not right for parents to outlive their children, but thats the way it goes sometimes. Hang in there.

Hi Ernie....We have not met...but I wanted to send our sympathies. My wife and I lost our 25 year old son to cancer in 1985, so we can imagine all the different emotions you are going thru. Our prayers are with you.

Ernie, one of the most unnatural things in the universe is for a dad to outlive his son. I work for a hospice and I see it all too often, once is too often. I offer any prayers that I have to you and your family that you can make sense out the insanity of this situation and find some peace that must be hard to come by at this moment. If you need anything, or just want to talk to someone who can listen at a time like this, let me know.
