Well here we are, the week of the big show in Benton, Ill.
This promises to be our biggest and best show yet and I am very excited about it. We've been getting calls and reservations from several different states so I guess lots of folks are excited as well.
I intend to set up 3 or 4 steels for sale at my booth in case some of you are looking for another guitar.
I wish to thank all in advance for attending and supporting our steel show. If we who love steel guitar don't support it, then it will surely die. I can't imagine letting that happen.
Other great players on our show besides Buddy include; John Hughey,Joe Wright, Russ Hicks, Ron Elliott, Don Helms, Dewitt Scott, Lynn Owsley, Don Curtis and many other players and guests.
The backup band members are; Rick Vanuagh - Drums, Rick Boyer - Bass, Earl Erb - Guitar and Walt Cunningham - Piano.
SEE YOU ALL IN BENTON April 12, 13 and 14th.
I might add that we are a non profit Corp. set up to do these shows. This is our 7th year and no one involved including myself has ever been paid a cent. All labor is donated through the love of the steel guitar. And profits are put forth for bigger and better shows for this wonderful instrument and the great musicians who play it.
Thanks again and SEE YOU ALL AT BENTON!
......Bobby

Bobby D. -Sounds great. I have met most of these great players at LT.Zinn's Grand Rapids Shows, and would sure like to see them again. But, sorry that I wont make it.
I hope you have a full capacity crowd there to be able to keep on putting on these show for the Steel Guitar Community......al.SmileSmile

It's worth the price of admission just to talk with Bobby Reed.
