Hi there, I'm new to the Steel Guitar Forum but I know a lot of you guys out there. Just thought I'd post that I'm hosting a smaller version of my "Guitar Geek Festival" as part of the bigger "Viva Las Vegas" festival this weekend in Las Vegas.
Of particular interest to this list, JW Wakefield and TK Smith will be performing their Speedy West & Jimmy Bryant tribute again!
The festival is at the Gold Coast casino. Our show is Saturday night at 8 pm. I THINK it might already be sold out, but check out vivalasvegas.net for more details.

OK....details, we need details! Anyone go to this show?
I'm also interested in what 13th tuning JW is playing. There are many variations of it and each person has their own flavor. Does he play C6 and E13 on his Bigsby?
Deke....do you know those answers?

Mark, check out the E-13th thread at the non-pedal post. It mentions Jeremy in there. I've wondered the same thing. Hope I can catch your band sometime soon. |
