I've had this cd for a few days. It has all the 78s he recorded for the Hollywood label in 1925/26. His playing is superb and most of the tunes come from the popular rather than the Hawaiian repertoire. Highly recommended!

Let's give it a well deserved bump! It truly is a great cd, Sol's playing was adventurous even on the early days. The cd booklet is also excellent. Also, it could be possible that on this cd we can hear the very first example of a National resonator guitar on record...
