Sorry for the short notice.

I'm playing tonight at the Mississippi Studios in east central Portland. It's with a couple of singer/songwriters: Natalia Zuckerman (Pinchas' daughter) from NYC/Boston and Kym Tuvim of Seattle. I'll be playing pedal steel and dobro. Maybe lap.

I think the hours are something like 7-9:30.

Hey Dan,

I just heard a Portland act play at McCabe's in Santa Monica, and was totally knocked out: Vagabond Opera. Know them? Crack musicians and very entertaining. Check them out if you haven't yet run across them. No steel, no country, just a fascinating show and true musicianship at every chair.

With today's vernacular,
it might not be a good idea
to call them crack musicians.

PS I would love to hear Dan Tyack
play live some day.
