I just received this picture of the undercarraige of my Sho Bud Professional that has been rebuilt by the great John Coop. I have been waiting for a while but it is going to be worth the wait. Just look at the before and after pictures.
I shpuld be getting pictures of the top today and getting the guitar next week. WOW!

John Coop did a fantastic job on my Sho-Bud pro III, it plays great, the new finger changers with the ball bearings are smooth as butter, I highly recommend John Coop for your rebuilds, and when you are getting pictures of your guitar from him it won't be long till it is shipped, Thanks John for working on my Sho-Bud. |

As far as I know it is the original finish. The year is probably right. I purchased this Steel from Steel Guitar Nashville about 6 or 7 years ago. I will post the closeups when I get the guitar back from John. About the cost of the conversion, I am not sure what it will be but I believe around $1000 to $1200 plus shipping. Anyway, I am just tickled pink that this job is getting done and really look forward to playing it again. The guitar always had killer tone but the mechanics did need serious work. Jeff Newman adjusted it a little for me in AZ at a seminar I took at the SW Steel Show.
