Don Helms, Billy Robinson Howard White and myself will be lined up across the stage, each doing our own styles and tunes, The four of us will be doing an hour.
There will be several very famous pedal players on the show playing their own "Hour", (Good players but they still use "traning pedals")
Anyone loving non-ped steel guitar should find somthing to like on this set, Don Helms alone is worth the trip, billy Robinson???????? You bet! If there is any slack, Howard and I will take it up!
One of Nashville's finest backup bands will be doing the honors of making us all sound good.

Come on and tell Don Helms how much you have enjoyed him through his great recording career: Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Ray Price, Hank Willams the original, and Hank Jr. along with many many others, his great career spans over seventy years!

Jim, hummmmmm, possibly, if not at this show, we can do a great special show just for this purpose. I feel a video/DVD with these guys would be very nice for all to view. A wonderful selection of great players and me.

It was a Howard White CD that turned me on to lap steel 15 years ago. After taking the plunge last year to lap its so nice to see his name up here, cant believe how little his name is mentioned, he's such a tasty player, right up there with Murphey, Byrd and Helms, what a night !!! I might just be the only uk player to have heard his lap stuff (mild provocation !!)

I will try to answer a couple of these questions since Bobbe may not check in in time. The gig is tomorrow, April 3 rd.
Yes Andy, Kayton is still playing, but we don't get to see and hear him nearly enough.
Now, Kevin, what is that georgeous guitar that you are showing. That thing looks awsome. I can only suppose that it sounds the same.
