I have a Sho-Bud 6139 and I have added a vertcal lever to lower the 6th string a whole tone. The knee lever works fine but the problem is when I press the A&B pedals together everything is fine but if I press the B pedal on its own, (to get a suspended chord e.g.)the 6th string is sharp. If I retune it then the 6th string is flat when I press pedals A&B. I have tried .020, .022 and .024 plain with the same result. I know that using a .022 wound string will not pull the full tone lower, so does anyone know of a way round this problem without having to get rid of my lovely BUD. I have looked at other threads but none of them seem to cover this particular problem. Maybe I didn't search hard enough!!!!!.
Cheers Dave.

Dave,
Here's my solution to dropping a wound sixth a full tone, on a stubborn changer, as discussed in this thread:

Allan, How on earth did i miss your post. How are you? Are you still playing the Rains. Seems like we're having a similar problem. I reckon Richard will sort us out. Looking forward to the Irish festival this year, I got this new anti-snore kit, haven't actually tried her out yet but I aint going to argue with 18 stone!!!!
Cheers Dave.
