I live in Rolla Mo on I-44. 113 mi to St Louis and 102 mi to Springfeild Mo. I'm thinking of having
a show here and see how it goes. Opinions needed, also suggestions. Don't be afraid to be honest with me.
Thanks Bill |

This question is only answered by the folks that will show up Bill, If you get a hundred or more showing up, it's sure worth it! And, look at the fun you may have if only ten show up. This question can only be answered by looking at the results of your first shows attendance.
Remember that to give it a chance, you need to do your part correctly, this means good promotion and give the folks the players and backup band they will enjoy. Keep the entrance fees reasonable, don't ever expect to make money.
Most of all, YOU have to enjoy putting the show on, after all, this may be your only consolation when all is done, and then again, do a great job, make most folks happy, and you'll possibly have a yearly show that everyone will be flying into from the world over! I know a guy near you that did it! Who knows, he may even help you too!
Your great friend,

Thanks Bobbe, The universtity has a huge jim that would work great.I'm thinking of contacting, equipment dealers, Steel Mfg's ect to see if they would sponsor an event like this. There are plenty of room for boths and a nice big stage. we have had several concerts here. I don't want to interfere with Scotty's or anyone else's. I just think Rolla would be a great place for something like this. |
