I want a capo for my 6 string lap steels. Which one has best sustain?

From what I have found in brief test drives, in an informal capo review at a Rob Ickes dobro workshop a couple years ago, I would say the top two are the Elmer Bradley and the Scheerhorn (the newer one - not to be confused with the older Scheerhorn/Flux).
Jerry Douglas has been doing some trial work on a new prototype capo from Beard, but no word what the deal is going to be on that one. I use the existing Beard capo, but I think the two I mentioned above give better sustain.

I used a Leno for many years, but the lever had to point up, or else it would hit the side of the neck. Occasionally, I hit the lever, but never had an on-stage "oops".
Now I use the new Scheerhorn, but upside down, as I can't close it with the ruber side down while I'm wearing picks. It works very well, and it's low profile, so I don't have any left hand issues. |

Scheerhorn flux. I prefer the older one. I also use it with the rubber side up for quick changes between songs. For lap steel, I don't capo very much. I usually just take a couple of guitars in different tunings.
I also have the beard capo and it sounds good but it is kind of a pain to get in place quickly between songs.
