Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice or ideas from fellow forumites.

My Match Bro is doing a strange thing!
In the Dobro position, without warning, it'll make a thump, then the tone changes drastically (adding a boost of bottom end, and sounding very "un Dobro" like).
I've tried fresh batteries, cleaned the switch, substituted cables but no dice.
Any thoughts?
Lee
p.s.
I suspect that it could be one of the pots.
They're are sealed, so it's hard to clean them.
Thought I'd see if anyone else had a similar experience, before I go replacing the pots.

That sounds more like a bad capacitor than a pot. But, you would have to send it back to Goodrich for repair since they do not publish schematics and even obliterate some of the components (the chip number in my MatchBro has been obliterated so it couldn't be "reverse engineered")
