Although he doesn't do cabinet restorations (that's right isn't it, Bobby?), Bobby Bowman is among the very elite when it comes to under carriage restoration. Especially on the Emmons push-pull mechanics.
Only one thing exceeds Bobby's ability to adjust, fix, or restore a PSG under carriage: And that, my friends, is his endearing quality as an honest business man, and a truly good person. It's an honor to have Bobby as a friend.
Keep on pickin' and fixin', mi amigo!

One difference between Coop and the PP masters is that John Coop makes parts to the exact specs of the old Sho~Bud undercarriage, but with much more precision, polish, and attention to detail than is evident in the factory 'Buds.
Emmons restorers, OTOH, seek to use all original Emmons parts whenever possible or available. I know of some people replicating Emmons PP parts, but the parts are only copies,... and not inexpensive, either... not improvements on the originals as are the Coop/Sho~Bud parts.
Yes, Bobby Bowman is not only a dear friend but also a super Emmons man who can slap a setup on a PP that rivals an all-pull guitar. I don't believe he does cosmetic restoration to the extent that Mike Cass and Tommy Cass (Casella... no relation to MC) do. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Another super guy is Bryan Adams. He can do whatever you want, both my guitars came back reflocked and with a bunch of new and nos parts, hard to tell the difference- he had a good supply of original parts although he tells me that we put a pretty good dent in those. I have had a couple of Emmons LeGrandes and the two p/ps that Bryan did play as easily (actually better) than either one. I'll shine up the black one and put a couple of pics on.
