Thanks John for the post. I hope to make the convention this year. I do have a door prize that was sent to me from Pefect Touch finger picks. I'm sure you have heard of them, if not, they advertise to be the most revolutionary finger pick ever made. I will make sure that the item gets to the convention for a drawing.

Bro. John,
Thanks for the post. (as if I needed a reminder, I look forward to this all year) Sounds like the OSGA has another great lineup this year. You and the board are to be congratulated. Mr. Hughey, John Buffington, Uncle Buck, Jr. Knight, Russ & Laney, Fred, just to name a few, and I know there will be many more great players as well. Buck, brother you said it " gonna be a great one !!! " This show has become one of the highlights of my year, I really look forward to it and getting to fellowship with all my friends. The players, singers, house band, you all are very special to me, and we always have a blast in Tulsa. I can hardly wait! See you all soon.

If I can, I plan to attend this. Sounds neat.
I wonder if there's a website for it or at least a schedule printed up for it.

Once again , John and crew have put together a first class lineup and we welcome John Terry back after an absence along with return of Russ and Laney Hicks, Junior Knight , and the incomparable John Hughey. The Country Classics will have some new (read old) tunes....maybe I should have said different but the one thing you can always count on from Senor Buffington...it will be traditional. No saving a horse with this bunch. Add in the always talented , always fun , always unpredictable Dewayne Bowman (does everyone remember I Left My Heart In San Francisco on Mark Giles' set) and you do not want to miss this great show.

Just received yet another call that folks are having trouble making reservations at the hotel. YES, we are having the show at the Radisson, but please do not call during the weekends to make reservations. For some strange reason, the weekend crew is telling folks the hotel is sold out and one report was there was not going to be a show!!!!!!! PLEASE CALL during the week and if you have any problems, ask to speak to Eva the manager and share your experience with her! Maybe she'll get the message across to the staff!
