i would like to donate one of my older m.s.a d-10 to a pedal steel
club for new steel players to have. is there any club's that will take my older m.s.a d-10 if, so please inform me .... the m.s.a is
in good shape 8+4 white mica stock pickups.

The Sacred Steel Organization does accept steel guitars being donated.
Then, they give the donated steel to a deserving Youngster to learn steel on.
Contact, Lonnie "Big Ben" Bennett for more information or also I believe Dan Tyack may have some contact information as well.
I personally have donated 2 steels to this organization and am very happy to have done so.
I look at it as "Paying It Forward"!

Paul,
The Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Jam and Show has a "Jump Start Academy" that selects students to learn for one year. They get the guitar, picks, bar and book along with lessons for one year then turn it over to the next student. It is very popular. Terry Bethel has also started one in the Ozarks modeled after our academy.

| Seems like a few months ago there was someone in the "Wanted" section of the forum that was in need of a steel and asking if someone had one to offer. He might have had some medical things going down, I don't remember all the details. Why not start here on the forum before giving it away elsewhere. |

| I once sold a Twin Reverb to the music program from the Montana State prison, and after talking to the music director, I donated an MSA D-12 to them. My idea was that it might help rehabilitate someone. I don't know how that worked out, I hope it might have helped someone get on the right track. |
