I want to thank all the members who showed up to participate in our meeting the 24th. A special thanks out to Jim Harper and James Morehead who held our seminars/sessions for the group....you don't know how we appreciate it guys! Thanks Jim Edwards for bringing your vocal talents in for us to play off of, and for the musicians who hung in there for the "big dogs" playin the steels. Gerald Cook...thanks is'nt enough partner, your vocal talents are a hidden treat for us everytime, and thanks for helping with the setup and tear down each month, I could'nt do it without you partner (besides...you have the PA..HA!)
And to all members.THANKS FOR BEING MEMBERS..we all learn from each other and the comradere and fellowship can not be beat by any club! Thanks everyone...and see you on the 28th of March.

Bob, I don't know about everyone else but I had a blast. It was a treat to hear Lorren & Gary finally get their opportunity to shine...GREAT job guys!! Hey Joel, where in the world did you disappear to? One minute you was there and then you did the Houdini act and was gone.
I want to thank Mr. BOB for everything he has done for the club. It takes a lot of time from a person to keep everything going like he has done. I also want to thank Mr. Leroy for coming over to my corner and play on my T-8 non-pedal....so that's what it's suppose to sound like!!

Gerald,
I had to pack up and get to a 3:15 soundcheck for a gig that paid REAL money (thank-you Lord). (Trouble with some of those jobs is that sometimes the folks involved don't have lives and it never crosses their minds that other folks do....therefore they soundcheck stuff 3+ hours before the doors even open.)
This time I'm only complaining because, as I was packing up to leave the club meeting, I saw the makings of a GREAT jam session streaming in the doors. And you guys just confirmed my suspicions
Oh well, there's always March to look forward to. By then, the usual "ugly" that you see on my face will be mixed with "bewilderment" caused by spending 5 days at the Texas show
See you guys in Texas (or maybe Tuesday night)...........Joel

I had a BLAST!! And my hats off to Bob for doing the juggleing act to make this event happen!! Gerald, your contribution to the club is PRICELESS!!
Jim Harper gave us a sweet intro into C6th neck 101. Thankyou very much, Jim, You are an inspiration to us all. We are now waiting for C6th 102 for March!
I want to thank those who attended the E9th seminar! You guys inspire ME!!
Jim Edwards from Okmulgee, Oklahoma was our guest singer this month--and what a great job!!---See ya next month? (hint, hint)
Again, thanx to all who played in the band, and those who helped out in various ways---it all helps COPSGC to move forward and grow. Our club definately has momentum!! Lets keep up the good work!! See ya'll next month!

I agree. This one was a blast for me. The best one yet.
Thanks James for reminding me to work on my fingers.
Jim, thanks for the C6 into. I hope I didn't take over too much. It was nice to finally learn something on the back neck.
It was nice to finally get to TRY to play with the rest of the group in the jam session. I'm far from where I'd like to be on this instrument so far but I get a little closer every time I get behind it.
Can't wait for the next one.
Bob, thanks for feeding me every time. It's nice to know that I'm going to get a good meal at least once every month.

James didn't even need a drum roll for that one. I don't care who you are.......now that's funny!
