Well it's official! I am getting a transfer to Phoenix and would like to find a teacher to work with. Right now I take nice informal classes with a teacher once a month for good measure and would not like to miss a beat. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Matthew, go to the links above and look at Steel Guitar Organizations. Click on Southwestern Steel Guitar Association. If you get in touch with those folks they will direct you to a steel teacher. I know that Fred Justice who lives in Globe teaches steel guitar. The association also has a mentoring program for players. Best wishes. |

Fred,
I will be in Phoenix around mid May. I have some globe trotting to do and once I am done with that I will be giving you a call and see what we can set up.
Appreciate it.
