Does anyone have their Winnie Winston book handy?

I was wondering what the E9 copedant is that he uses in it.

What is the standard E9 copedant that most of the learning material is based on?

I have a Carter-Starter but it looks like I'm going to get a Lagarrit that was built by Rittenberry.

Any help on the copedant & any info on Lagarrit is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Casey

The basic 3 floor pedals, the knee levers were both E's to F and Eb, F#'s to G and 2nd string Eb to D. The first section knee was 8th string E to Eb and 2nd string Eb to D. It's a great book.

Your Carter Starter is tuned to the standard E9th copedent.

This link would be a fairly "standard" E9 tuning.

The Carter-Starter tuning is optimized around the most popular and available teaching materials.

The LaGarrit was probably made to order for someone and could have a slightly different copedent. Unlike your Carter-Starter, you can easily change the copedent on this or any other modern, pro-level pedal steel guitar.

If anyone has info on Lagarrit pedal steels, I would like to know more about them.
