Pee Wee and the band will be playing "Texas Heritage Day" at Lamar State College in Orange Texas March 1, 2007. Roy Rosetta will be on the keys. If you like Western and Texas Swing you should make this gig. I believe the start time is 7PM. The concert is outdoors unless the weather threatens and then it can be moved indoors to the Student Center. Yours truly will be mixing sound for the band. This is gonna be fun!!

Mike, it is according to how you come to Orange but if you come south on US 87, stay on it into Orange. Take a left on Green Ave. (You'll see Wells Fargo Bank on the left and Orange Ford straight ahead), go over the railroad tracks and proceed to 3rd or 4th street. Locate the Lamar State College of Orange Library building (on the right) and the function is supposed to be outdoors in front of the library. If you come on IH 10 from either the west or east, just get off on US Highway 87 (16th St.) exit and go south the same as above. Coming from Lake Charles you can get off at the first exit to the right past the Texas Visitors bureau, go to the intersection and turn left proceeding underneath IH 10. Follow the street to Green Ave. and turn right. You will see 3rd and 4th streets and the Library is on the Left.

I met you at Breau Bridge Nov 1st at the Lucky Oceans Jam, I sat in on bass when Bill Stafford did his set.

Mike, be sure to say hello when you get there. I'll be somewhere around the mixing board.

Just got in from the show and what a show!!! PeeWee and the band were in top form. The gig was outdoors at the college and the cold weather hurt the turnout but the band was hot. I almost didn't recognize my buddy Roy Rosetta in a black hat. Anyway steel, fiddle, piano, bass, drums, rhythm guitar, and some great vocals just made it a wonderful night.

Mike, thanks for coming over to Orange. Be sure to send me some of those pictures! I know the college wants to bring the band back for another engagement, so stay tuned.
