As stated in another thread, Sarah Jory WILL NOT be performing at the TSGA Jamboree this year, due to conflicting dates with her main job, working for Van Morrison.

According to TSGA President Albert Talley, Sarah and her representatives were holding her commitment to the TSGA until her schedule with Morrison was finalized. Cross-communication was difficult. The TSGA was notified last week that her decision not to attend was final.

We are of course very disappointed that she won't be there, and we apologize to anyone planning to attend based on Sarah's participation.

HOWEVER, GREAT NEWS! On a high note, I just got off the phone with my ol' pal Jay Dee Maness, and he's confirmed with Albert Talley that he will be attending and performing on Saturday night's show! Smile So we hope that anyone upset with Sarah's absence will be more than pleased with the addition of SGHall of Famer and SoCal legend Jay Dee Maness.

A mighty fine trade-off. JayDee (world's best tone) is one of my all time favorites.

Congratulations to the TSGA, Herb, Albert, and the gang who were able to get such a great replacement for Sarah. Although I am a devoted Jory fan, JD Maness is the perfect replacement. Good Job folks.

Jay Dee gonna play in heels? If he's going to be an honest replacement for Sarah he really should, you know.

Somehow, I doubt it. The last guy who played in heels (and a nice, conservative skirt) wasn't received all too well by that crowd. Shocked

I remember when Jay Dee came to Wolftrap, here in Va., with Vince; he had everyone on their feet, huge crowd too. I've never heard better in my life; you're in for a monster performance.
