Mullen pedal bar
I have a D-10 Mullen , 1996 model. I have had the pedal bar come loose at the left end or at the A, B. C, pedal end if you will. Is this a common problem ? I am now using a little extra torque on the wing nut.
Is the proper way to install this bar, seat it against the leg collars ? There is a gap between the bar and the rubber crutch tip. I know some have drilled this and put a bolt in the bar through the leg. Another has put steel washers on the leg on top of the cruch tip rubber, and seated the pedal bar against that.
I have owned a lot of pedal guitars and don't remember ever having this problem.

Mullen Pedal Bar
Willis I had a similar problem with my pedal bar riding up. I installed a hose clamp on the leg on top of the bar. It doesn't look too good cosmetically, but it solved the problem.

I was going to post about the same thing. I have a 1994 Mullen D-10, and when I pick it up to move it the pedal rack slides down on the right side. The first time I press a pedal, it kind of jacks the rack back up. I tighten the wing nuts as tight as I can, but it still happens.
On every other steel I've had, I've set the legs so the pedal rack just fits in between the clutch and the rubber foot, but the Mullen leg won't retract that far. There's about 1/4" of extra length below the clutch when it's fully retracted. I don't know why the leg would be made that way. I plan to have the inner section of the leg cut down so a "normal" fit is possible.

leg clamp
what i did to solve the problem is longer rubber boots and went to lowes and found some 1/4 flat bar knobs to put instead of the wing nuts and since no mo slips just what i did tommy
