I know that it has been discussed before.
I was wondering if anyone has found a cheap keyboard case that actually works well for PSG...perhaps one that GuitarCenter might have???
I'm trying to find a cheap case...F.A.S.T. I've been meaning to buy the Carter-Starter case from Carter for awhile & never got around to it. I plan on attending the Joe Wright Seminar in Nebraska & don't really want to transport it in its box.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Casey, I've got a keyboard gigbag that I've used for my SD10 and I wrapped my steel up in 2 heavey towels for more protection. I put the legs and pedal bar in a jr bow bag that I got at walmart for 7 bucks. I only used the gig bag when I was hauling the steel in my car. A studio that I worked at was up stairs, (27 steps to climb) and my back was getting tired so the gig bag worked out great.

I found the SKB H3611W (actually a wheeled drum hardware case, but I think Sierra used to sell it also) because it (and it alone, seemingly) fits an old ZB S-10 (~36" long, 9-1/4" wide and 5-1/2" tall). Musicians Friend and some other mail-order places have it for about $180. I got a near-new one a little cheaper on eBay. No padding, just two sets of straps (bottom and top). SKB may have something slightly smaller, closer to a Carter Starter's dimensions. |
