Last week it was his great rendition of "Ave Maria". This week it's the Pops Staples Gospel classic "People Get Ready". With the extremeley cold winter we've been having I definitely think Chuck is praying for spring!
Great job on the Ricky Frypan Chuck!

We'll get Chuck down to Dallas in a few weeks. A weekend of music, some laughs, a plate of barbeque and some libations will cure the winter blues. _________________ Gerald Ross

Enjoyed that!!! Definitely raises the bar on steel guitar artistry.
Seems the cold weather has had no effect whatsoever and has not dampened Chuck's picking and innovation! |

Real nice, Chuck. I always liked the Rod Stewart/Jeff Beck version of this but I think I've got a new favorite |

Nice job on this tune Chuck. I've always loved this song and was working out a lap steel arrangement for it awhile back but never completed it.
Your version inspired me to pick it up again. |

Nice job Chuck!
Pops Staples may have recorded it but Curtis Mayfield wrote it. |

Thanks for the kind words. I've been enjoying the new BIAB with "real drums." There are so many different grooves to use for songs like "People Get Ready," so it was fun to experiment. Although Denver has been sunny and warmer, I'm looking forward to the Dallas Jamboree in a few weeks. I hope to get to meet and greet with some of you there.
