Seemed like an interesting question for a poll.

Guitar is my main instrument, I play a Telecaster and a nylon-string acoustic with my band.
In the '90s I played bass for a couple of years with another band.
I also dabble a bit with accordion (I love TexMex & Cajun music), but I'd really have to get a teacher to improve my level.
Learned clarinet and recorder as a kid, but I guess I forgot how to play those in the meantime.

Mandolin, even more than guitar.

I played bass for several bands, and also rhythm guitar and piano for another.
I am now playing drums again for a band.
I am taking lessons for the fiddle and sax.

No, "other" means some other musical instrument, like a mandolin.

Drums. I played all through school and college jazz band.

Bass (Fender Jazz Master only), 6 string Fender Fat Strat Deluxe,(American made) with ball bearing rollers. One cool axe.

I've been playing "lead" in various country & bluegrass bands for over 40 years (& some early rock & roll and "surfin" stuff many years ago) I play electric and acoustic guitar; 5-string (bluegrass) and 4-string (tenor) banjo; dobro; fiddle; mandolin; and now, I'm pleased to say, some pedal steel. I 've always loved the instrument, and a few years ago, I bought an old "sidekick" 3 pedal -1 knee lever rig that was (in hindsight) worn out to the point that it was impossible to try to keep in tune, or to learn much on. I frigged away at it, and then put it away when I got involved in the bluegrass festival ciruit About a year & 1/2 ago, I got inspired to get back at steel - mostly due in no small part to the discovery of this forum, and the wealth of information and help readily available!!
Last February, I became the proud owner of a new Carter Starter, and havn't looked back since! Most of the country playing I do now is with a "classic country" band that does mostly "Jamboree" type show and seniors dances. Depending on the need, I can be playing "back-up" on any of the above instruments during the show, and although the Carter Starter is deemed a "student" model, I find it plays & sounds great for the venues I am involved with. I have an old Shobud "Christmas tree" amp, and a George Dennis volume pedal (it's an "optic" light-beam type), and I use a bit of digidal delay - works for me!

we had a jam last Sunday in my garage..let's see I played Steel and bass and acoustic rythym and lead some drums ( I reely sucked on those bad for some reason on this one boogie woogie tune) and sang two songs. I can even blow a little harmonica....I am just a hacker..I am now too old to care, just want to get a giggle out of playing.

Although I play guitar, bass, and tenor sax, steel is still my #1 instrument, none of the others effect me like pedal steel, its just such a beautiful sounding instrument. I honestly think God has them in Heaven, that old harp theory just don't get it with us steel players, right?

I have played bass mostly for the last 35 years. Just started playing steel in the last 5 or 6 years. Most recently was playing standup bass for a swing group. We were together for 9 years until everyone got too old. Play a little guitar now and then.

I Started out playing sax, then started playing guitar. Played that for years until ole Arthor showed up. Then started to play steel which is my favorite inst. But I still play sax and steel with our group. I also dabbled with bass , clarinet ,mandolin and of course KAZOO.

I checked the guitar box. Actually, it would be dobro, but it may be included in the steel category. I can hold up the bottom end on bass also. I also have a Roland VK-7 but only really read for the right hand.

Guitar , most of my life, but speaking of banjos i read in the reader's digest that a young man was heard to remark that the best sound he had ever heard from a banjo, was when an accordian was dropped on top of it in a dumpster. Just thought i'd mention it. Got nothing aganst them myself, just never had any interest in learning to play one. TJH

In addition to pedal steel guitar, I play 6-string electric and acoustic guitars, piano, organ, and bass guitar, and have performed in bands and recording sessions on these instruments. I'm probably most comfortable on 6-string, as I've been playing that the longest, a little over 40 years. I express myself well on all of the above mentioned instruments, but would not be considered equally adept at all styles on every instrument.
I definitely have my strong and weak points on each instrument, and fortunately, I know what they all are, and am good at not letting my weaknesses get in the way of expressing myself in a way that's considered musically pleasing.
Currently, I play primarily in a country group that also does some classic rock, and for those situations I play pedal steel 50%, keyboards 40% and 6-string guitar 10%. Last year when we didn't have a guitar player, I took over the responsibilities for a while, but I'm glad we got a guitar player in the band again so I can go back to focusing on pedal steel.
I even played bass on a couple of country gigs last year, and that was the first time in about 10 years.
