Fred Justice - Wonderful player-Listen to him playing......
Friends,I have to share this with you all.Today I got my copy in the mail of Freds playing.I asked him to send me a copy of his CD so we could play that in The Steel Guitar Room.
I have to say that he is one heck of a player. And if you have the chance to see and hear him play I would highly recommend it.In one word..."BEAUTIFUL".
Click Here for "Here's that rainy Day".

God Bless, and keep up the outstanding work.

I heard Fred about 2 years ago at a jam. He had a new guitar that wasn't quite finished yet, and only had 2 knee levers working. Suffice to say that he could do more with his 2 knee levers than I could do with my 7.

I first met Fred at the Branson Show in his booth. He was more than eager to explain to me how his old Lexicon worked and swayed me into going out and getting my very own. I then heard him play for the first time at the KSGA show. He blew me away because I can usually understand what a steeler is doing especially on E9th but Fred has a unique style and amazing tone and accuracy that most of wish we had. I can't wait to hear him again this year and I will have my tape recorder running for sure.

b]I have to chime in here and say how much we enjoy Fred's CD and his playing as well. He has a style that we love. It's always a pleasure to get to hear him on stage.
Not only is Fred a good player, he is also a good person. Never in our lives have we met a more outgoing and friendly person. He always has a smile for you. He even takes time to visit with my children.
Thanks Fred, we all love ya.

Every once in awhile someone comes along that really makes a difference in your life for the better. Fred is one of the people who's changed my life to the better by knowing him. He's a great player, a great person and a great "friend". Love you brother! Ray
P.S. If you don't have one of his CD's, you're missing some great playing.

WOW
Just now seeing this over here, thanks Ron and Karen and I'm glad you liked my CD.
You all are turning me to mush with them kind words of praise.
You know, as far as I'm concerned, there's no better feeling than to be mentioned publicly by one's peers or family, and you all are my family and for this I thank you so much. Thank you Mike, Rick, Dana and Howard, I just hope I can live up to your kindness and respect.
Now, keep em coming, I needed some new hat's anyway.

Fred's OK, it like that sort, My wife thinks he's a big hugable Teddy Bear. Fred is one of the finest musicians you'll ever listen to. He plays from the heart and that's hard to find anymore. I'm proud to have him for a friend.

The first time i had ever talked to Fred was when i was guitar shopping and he was telling me about his, so i bought one just on his word, and i've never looked back. I met him later at St. Louis Conv. that same year and heard him play and was very impressed by his playing. We were in the ball room when Paul Franklin was playing & we kinda hung out togerther there while Paul was up and i felt like i had known him for a long time, but thats just the kind of guy he is. Great guy, great picker.

FRED'S FANTASTIC STEEL GUITAR STYLINGS
Ron: Thanks for presenting a sampling of Fred's great playing; What a beautiful melody that he's doing. How could anyone whom loves pedal steel, not love this man's ability on this number. And that new gospel CD which you mentioned by Fred; I will surely request a copy of same. I'm on my way to his web site right now. Keep up the fabulous work, Fred. If I didn't hate cities so much, I'd certainly make a trip to Dallas, just to hear you...An old country boy from northern N.Y. Bernie..

Fred- I just had the chance to hear your rendition of "Here's That Rainy Day" and you play it beautifully on that E9 tuning. I always played it on the 6th neck. But you sure made it sound great on that E9 neck....al.:)
