Welcome, David. Have a look around (especially at the Links button at the top of the page), search some old discussions, but above all, have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions! _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

David,
Welcome aboard. I'm a frequent student and a seldom poster, but play (at) dobro and lap steel as well.
This is one of the best sites for the technical and technique of both. If your luck runs the same as mine, you will learn something every time that you visit.
The best to you,
David |

Hi David
Come on in and join the chit-chat at SGF.
Since HowardR has not been providing very much humor of late in our chit-chat room here, may I ask a personal question of you?
Do you have any gifts or talent in making us laugh? Sometimes we are too serious here and need to laugh. I was just wondering if you could help in that area?
Aloha,
Don |

David,
welcome. If you search the forum for older messages, don't forget to also look into the closed "No Peddlers" section, the predecessor of "Steels Without Pedals", that's where you'll find the bulk of the older post about lap steel playing. |
