A few month ago I purchased a used left handed Sho-Bud Pro I serial number 18619. Anybody have any idea how I can find out when this was built?

Alan,

Sho~Bud serial numbers are notoriously unreliable for identifying year of manufacture. If you can provide these details, several Sho~Bud experts here will narrow it down considerably for you:

Narrow or wide pedals? If narrow, are they smooth or grooved?

Square or round-front body?

Straight or tear-drop knee levers?

Does it or does it not have the "Pro 1" decal?

What kind of mechanism is underneath? Rack and Barrel? Brass swivels on two-hole pullers? 4-hole pullers with rod clips?

Single, Double or Triple Raise?
