I sold this guitar some time ago and recently started the process of locating it and trying to buy it back. About a month ago I got a phone call and an offer to sell it back to me. I had to switch it back to Day set-up and played it tonight at a Church concert for the first time since I got it back. There is magic in that guitar. It has a wrinkled fretboard on C6th and a couple of holes drilled thru the mica deck but it sounds out of this world. I am so happy to have it back.

jerry,
my pop always told me to stick with the instrument that fits ya the most....no matter how old it is.Thats exactly why I use an NASHVILLE LTD on al my recordings and gigs.Right now I am looking for a practise guitar for in the studio at home.And that probably will be a BMi...but in the mean time I will be using this LTD.
My advice....keep it and make it your main-axe.

Well Jerry there you go, a happy camper once again. I bought that guitar from Bruce Zumsteg years ago, he used it to compare to his Zumsteels. It took several years to get it away from him. It is one of those sweet sounding rosewood guitars, I currently have another one 1086D I got from Bob Bender. Nothing like a PP to get your blood a pumping.

Jerry, I have #1127, also a rosewood and man I know what you mean. There is some serious mojo in those very early cut-tails. Larry, is #1086 a cut-tail?

I bought my first Emmons D-10 (Rosewood #1264 D - June '69) back in 1976 for $600.

Jim, surely you jest! After I posted this thread last evening it occured to me that I gave a serial number only and failed to state it was an Emmons but it appears that was not necessary information, but was assumed by all. Neato!

TC my guitar is a Rosewood cuttail, it came with 9 and 4, I removed two pedals like Bobby Seymour does.
I dropped a set of TT 16K single coils in it seems to work just great.

I always thought the satin Rosewoods started in the early 70's 
Yet Willis's serial # is a late 60's. Hmmmmmm  |
