To avoid hijacking someone else's thread, i am starting a new one to state that I am teaching pedal steel, lap steel, and Dobro at a local music store, music school facility, namely Gary Hutchison School of Music and I am personally a dealer for Carter Starter and Magnum guitars. Two of my students are playing Carter Starters and I will have a red Magnum SD10 in early February. The Carter Starter is a great first guitar and I would have no problem playing a gig with one other than the fact I play Day setup and it takes me a few minutes to get accustomed to an Emmons setup. I am really looking forward to receiving the Magnum and checking it out. I have an order form filled out to fax in to order a D10 Magnum Day setup for a personal guitar. Trying to decide between blue and black.

Hey Jerry, you'll really be surprised with the D-10 Magnum. I've got a new D-10 blue one I'm testing driving this weekend. This one has the George 10 SS p/u's. I'm very impressed. See ya!
