It's time once again for our first meeting of the year!

As usual, we will meet at Russell's Shed on Highway 44 West of I-65 in Shepherdsville, KY.

Date: Sunday, 1/21/2007
Time: 2pm - 5pm
Featured Players: The legendary Boogie Sherrard and the equally legendary Ron Browning.

Both these guys are equally well-versed on the E9th and the C6th necks and they both have distinctive styles so come on out for an afternoon of great steel playing!

If you have any questions, feel free to email me!

Eli

It's been quite a while since I've heard the Boogie Man throw down at the club. I always enjoy his pickin' and choice of great tunes. 8)
See ya' Eli!

Hey Guys, I was in Louisville last Sunday (unfortunately for a funeral) and missed the show by a week. :( I really miss the club and would love to have seen/heard Boogie and Ron. I'm sure it was a great show! I hope to get back up sometime soon and I'll try to contact ya'll before I do and maybe I can arrange the trip around the show. I miss you guys and think of you often, Austin

Sorry to hear about your loss Austin.

We miss you too....and Ron.
I guess you heard that we lost Joe Crowe recently. Nonetheless, our little club is still going strong and the guys played great as usual.

Our new officer Eli, is doing a bang-up job and just plays the fire out of everything with strings on it as evidenced Sunday.

Hi Jerry, thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear about Joe, I know the club feels the loss as well as I do. He really loved the steel and was dedicated to the pickers, their instruments and the club. Great to hear about Eli! I believe I heard him play shortly before I moved to Florida. Hope to hear him again in the future.
I have some current video at the site below. Check it out when you get the time, Take care, Austin
