Trying to help a friend, figure the value on his Sho Bro Dobro. Has card symbol fingerboard. Maple sides and back with spruce top. Great tone and cometic condition. Suppose to be a 62. Have pictures but don't know how to post them. Perhaps someone could help me with that. Hoping some of you with knowledge of these could tell the value for insurance purpose.

I don't think they even made them in the early '60's, but "book price" for the '70's models is about $500. |

I know a guy that has one, its got the card symbols and white fretboard, nice condition. He paid $1500. My self, I think they would be priced reasonable at $1500 or more. Depends on the condition. |

The number on it is 2004, but I'm not familiar with that number system. |
