What a Show, what a crowd!!!!!!!Great crowd, great show. Jody Sanders did a short presentation on three note scales. Our new Player segment featured Jim HarperCommanche,Okla) D10 Fessy, and Jerry Harkins(Marble Falls,Tx) D10 Fessy. Lots of great country and swing music. Our featured act: Ricky Davis SD10 ShoBud and Miss Leslie on fiddle and vocals. An incredible act. Some of the best country music I have ever heard. Ricky did a super job on steel and Miss Leslie is one of the best fiddle players and vocalists out there. The Connie Smith songs were as good as they come. The JAM players : Jim Harper-D10 Fessy, Jerry Harkins-D10 Fessy, Ricky Davis-SD10 Shobud, Jody Sanders-D10 Pedalmaster, and Miss Leslie on fiddle. Jam vocalists. James Harvey, Billy Phelps, Larry Schoppe, and Miss Leslie. The band: Bass-James Harvey, Patty Phelps, and Larry Schoppe. Guitar: Jim Saunders. Drums : Elaine Gondesen and Billy Phelps. A special thanks to Ricky and Miss Leslie for coming to our show and entertaing us so good. A special thanks to Billy and Patty Phelps for all they do to keep our club operating, and a special thanks to all who attended and played and sang on the show. GOD bless, and we will see you down the road. Jody, Billy, and Patty.

Thanks Jody, Billy, & Patty for such a great show and for letting me be a small part of it. Ricky & Miss Leslie were superb, some of the best traditional country music around. I'm looking forward to next month's show and I hope Ricky & Miss Leslie will become regulars.

I've only missed two meetings since this began and I'd have to agree, this was a great one. What would have made it better, would have been to have Bobby Bowman and Jody Cameron to complete the set, along with Billy Phelps doing some steel. His drumming is good, but he belongs behind a steel guitar.
It was good of Jim Harper to include us on his Texas vist. His picking added a nice touch. Jerry Harkins was great too and nice of him to drive from Marble Falls to join us.

This was my first meeting to attend, and it was GREAT! Excellent playing by Jim, Jerry, Ricky and Jody! and the back-up players. Lets not forget Miss Leslie! WoW! I am definitely going to have to attend one of her shows. I am looking forward to the next one and hopefully one day when I get comfortable with my playing the PSG, I can join in. When I got interested in PSG, I did not realize the support that was out there! I thought I was going to have to dive in on my own! With the help of Jody Cameron and this club I think this is going to be a great experience! I look forward to getting to know everyone and pick up on some good pointers to assist my playing! Everyone was courteous and kind, and real "Texas-Hospitality" atmosphere! Thanks everything ya'll do! Very Happy

That was a great meeting!! I really enjoyed getting to hear everyone play some nice Steel Guitar, and the great backup band. I talked to some real nice folks and made some new friends too. That's what it's really about anyway, good folks and good music. Thanks to Billy, Patty, Jody, & everyone for letting me pick a little. Hope to see everyone soon !
