Lappin' It Up C6th
I recently completed a composition for
Lap Steel using the C6th six string tuning.
(Low to high C-E-G-A-C-E)
This work demonstrates that a little lap steel is capable of capturing the feel of
E9th pedal steel when played with the approach I am using.
I will send the MP3 to anyone who expresses
an interest here. To those who may wish to
learn the song and this way of playing I can
provide the tab and "on Line" help which will
involve a lesson fee. I can send the material snail mail also if desired.
The MP3 is free for the asking.
This is a great way to play folks but it takes a little work and a little time.
If you wish more innformation please indicate
here in this thread and I will be glad to oblige.

I'd like to hear & see that as well, s'il vous plait. I've learned a few Hawaiian songs from your website before; they were very helpful.
Thanks,

I have answered all requests with the MP3
and thank you for listening.
The Lap Guitar I use is a Gibson BR-7 and
I think it dates to the early 50's ,,,not
sure? It's on loan from my son.
In addition to the subject MP3 I am
offering an additional MP3 with the
song played super slow so all the licks can be heard clearly. The Tablature will be included also. The cost is $15.00 and I will
be happy to answer questions by email.
Thank you all for your time and interest.
