Florida Panhandle Jam? I am curious, who would like to attend such an event?

Yes, a circle of players taking turns playing steel guitar to some of our all time favorites, with tracks / BIAB or maybe even a live band. With the help of new Forum member Glenn Rhyne, it is very possible to have this Jam 60 miles east of Pensacola in Crestview, Florida about 6 miles off of Interstate 10. I would like to see this thing happen sometime in May '07.

I know of 1 player that will be there so far... Ha!

WELL?

Jim,
You get one set up and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how many folks show up. Heck you never know....ole cousin Ray may even show up and get a bit of the warm weather too.

If you think about it and look at posts others have made about wanting to do a jam....if only the people who replied on the forum would show it would be a pretty small jam. Fact is most of the time they turn out to be a pretty nice jam with lots of folks there.

Laughing Ken fox and I were talking about this Friday nite at Quitman, it would be about 200 miles for me, 300 for him, it is a long way across the top of the state, but sure would make some. saluda and Birmmingham is 400 and we go there.
